To give you a clearer idea of what has been achieved, we want to go back on what has been done on the media center of the CPA. To start, we had to make an inventory, it took us a good day to see what steps taken and what strategy put in place, it was not easy we left a little in every sense.
We decided to refurbish the computers on the network, explaining the association of youth steps forward. We show one or two machines and then they reproduced the following procedure. They know so well now reinstall a computer (a priori). We encountered a difficulty, because we have failed as we wanted to restrict client access. The software they use does not allow fine control.
We gave explanations on the contents of the CPU. The various components, their roles, etc.. They showed a lot of curiosity which was very motivating for the rest of the mission.
Then we have given them the few tools available to do network administration, to solve basic problems.

- Using the ipconfig
Ensure good communication between computers on the network using the ping command. And some ways to solve major problems.
To be sure they remember the diff erent
learned things, we tried to introduce them to the tutorials, but after a while we noticed that they preferred oral and they had a good memory . So we will, if time permits, do the tutorials ourselves to have a comprehensive and clear document. Now that computers are installed, we start training on maintaining a fleet of computers. Highlight the usefulness of the virus. Regularly check that customers use the computer correctly, etc..
They also have many questions we are trying to answer. Especially for making web site, or questions about computer software. That
regarding the work with young people in the CPA.
