Great Britain: Jewish schools in danger

The "Jewish Chronicle", spokesman of the Jewish community was the headline on Friday: "The decision of the Court of Appeal plunges the Jewish school in deep crisis"

Indeed, organized Jewish community in Britain is now caught in a storm that may have adverse effects on the future of its educational network. A Tribunal has in fact just declare "that the denial of a Jewish school to accept students from non-Jews is racism." The case began with the refusal to accept the JFS School a student of Jewish father but whose mother had had a conversion process reformed. This refusal of the school had been endorsed by the Grand Rabbi of Great Britain itself.

The father appealed this decision to a court a year ago, and then the judges had agreed with the headteacher for the following reason: "A Jewish school, like any other religious school, is right to set its own criteria for admission of its students. " The father has turned to a Court of Appeals on June 25 last, returned a verdict that exactly the opposite the previous one: "The acceptance of a student in a Jewish school, as in any other religious school can not be done on basis of ethnicity or religion." This decision has caused such a shock wave in the British Jewish community has even been condemned by the British leader of Reform Judaism, Dany Bayfield, who called it a "disaster" and "insulting."

Thus, according to the verdict that could set a precedent, a Jewish school could no longer refuse, not only a student whose mother was converted by the process reformed, but any non-Jewish student who wishes to enter for various reasons: proximity, quality of teaching or coaching etc.. JFS School said it will make itself appeal this decision to the House of Lords as "the decision of the Court of Appeal may profoundly modify the operation of the school and the teaching is lavished. Although "criticizing the refusal of the JFS school to accept children of mothers converted reformed", Dany Bayfield announced that " 100% would support the actions of the United Synagogue (Orthodox) to change the verdict of the Court of Appeals. "

The school system JFS is one of the most famous and prestigious in Britain, and is the largest in Europe. It serves students whose degrees of Jewish practices are very different, sometimes even nonexistent, but imposes its rules in an internal life based on Halacha. The bodies of British Jewry said they were very worried about the future of these schools. Indeed, Jewish schools, JFS and the network are known to have a level of education internal life and high quality. Many non-Jewish families would like nothing better to be able to enroll their children in front of a public education increasingly poor and a progressive loss of moral values in these institutions.

The Grand Rabbi of Great Britain, Rabbi (Sir) Jonathan Sacks wrote in the "Jewish Chronicle" that what is meant by the Court of Appeal, is that Judaism is a form of racism, when in fact it is nothing, because anyone who sincerely desires can convert to Judaism. Our criteria are religious and not racial or ethnic .

He said that even if the House of Lords gave no reason for the Jewish school, he and the leaders of Orthodox Judaism British seize the European courts.

A reading of the Jewish press from across the Channel, one can easily see where the confusion has now plunged the British Jewish community, and educational bodies in particular, following this decision. And Jewish schools in Europe could begin to fear the growing phenomenon on the continent.

Obama sees red, but what the fly bites? Obama and Palestine

Freddy Eytan international attention to the intricacies of Israeli politics.

Claiming to be the policeman of the world, the general director of the show diplomacy, simply reverse the roles: Israel is now the hardline, the villain and the need to master martial and punish, while Korea North and Iran are countries that have the right to rain or shine on nuclear issues. They may laugh wildly international conventions and threaten the stability of the planet without major difficulty.
America Obama wants to do and leaves even the dialogue. The Diplomacy requires skill and tact in relations with states, but it is also conducted with firmness, determination and deterrence. In this regard, American diplomacy has failed. Despite appearances and tough talk, Obama shows that weakness and helplessness.

By denouncing the Israeli policy, systematically and daily, it encourages the extremists of Hamas to continue to sabotage any peace process and pose preconditions Mahmoud Abbas by discouraging to resume negotiations with Benjamin Netanyahu.

But what got Obama?

Would he have the Netanyahu left the government or he prefers the fall of totalitarian regimes and obscure? As with North Korea, the policy of the American'administration is ambiguous and perplexed with the Arabs and Iran, and in fact it does not really exist.

In this context, Israel should continue its efforts to prove its good intentions and his unwavering friendship the U.S. and wait patiently coherence and pragmatism in diplomacy of President Obama. Jerusalem must also include the U.S. president that the Jewish state is still sovereign and independent and democratically elected government universal suffrage, will act against threats on its own interests.

by Jeff Robbins, Wall Street Journal

Original title: Obama and Palestine

The distancing of the Authority with Israel is likely to strengthen those believe that U.S. support for that country may end.
In his new book, "A state, two states: a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian" historian Benny Morris tells the story of the deadly Palestinian refusal to accept Israel really tan State Jew in the heart of a Middle East uniformly Muslim. Morris reviewed the ongoing rejection of the Palestinians in particular and Arabs in general a two-state solution. This denial indicates he was "the continuing commitment of the Palestinian leadership ... in the history of their national movement until today.

course, the refusal of Palestinian politicians, academics and clergy agree to accept a Jewish state forever beside a Palestinian state is both a dirty little secret, and a huge 800-pound gorilla in the middle of the room when the discussion is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

As Morris notes, the Palestinians have given for over 80 years of evidence "persuasive" they do not want a Jewish state in the region, regardless of frontiers, and whatever the policy pursued by this or that Israeli government with regard to settlements. The Palestinian rejection of a Jewish state of any kind is not one of the recurring themes of conflict, but its dominant theme. Thus in the 30s, the Palestinians rejected a two-state solution which would have created a Jewish state in less than 20 percent of Palestine. In the years 40, the Palestinians rejected the partition plan of United Nations which created a Jewish state in less than half the arable land of Palestine. From 1948 to 1967, when Israel was in no way present in Gaza, the West Bank or East Jerusalem, the Arabs did not create a Palestinian state. After the 1967 war, when Israel accepted the formula of land against peace in Resolution 242 of the UN, the Arab world, including the Palestinians, rejected it. In 2000, when Israel has supported a plan proposed by President Clinton that would have created an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem capital, Gaza in its entirety and virtually all the West Bank, Palestinians have also rejected, and instead of approving it launched a campaign of bombings that killed 1,100 Israelis and caused as a result of death of 4,000 Palestinians.

And in 2006, when Israel withdrew unilaterally from the Gaza Strip by force, thousands of settlers, drawing a line on the Jewish presence, the Palestinians responded by firing rockets against centers Israeli civilian population. They put on Israel faced with the choice of leaving a detestable increasing number of its civilians under fire from rocket attacks daily, or to enter Gaza to put an end to these attacks with inevitable losses in the local population. For its part, the Hamas leadership who had murdered many of his opponents and ended the military takeover of Gaza, was more than happy to exchange for hundreds of Palestinian lives against a wave of international criticism of Israel, a predictable consequence of its efforts to protect its civilians against the firing of rockets.

Recently, Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president told The Washington Post that the Palestinians had once again rejected a two-state solution. Abbas told the Post that the former Prime Minister Olmert had recently offered an independent Palestinian state with all of Gaza, a capital in East Jerusalem and 97 percent of the West Bank. Abbas flatly rejected the offer again. "The gap was too big" Abbas said without elaborating.

Meanwhile, Abbas has refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, telling the Post that he preferred to let time do its work, confident that American pressure on Israel and international weaken its future position. "Meanwhile," Abbas said "things are going well in the West Bank ... the people have a comfortable life." And last week, despite many new difusées in the Western media that Hamas was trying to "moderate" his position on Israel, the latter informed the former President Carter, whose credulity on this conflict is a source of wonder, of what he has already made it clear: he will never recognize Israel's right to exist, whatever the circumstances.

The problem is that all this coincides with conformist views increasingly hegemonic: they amount to the idea that these are the Israeli settlements in the West Bank are the obstacle to peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Despite the picture painted of a so convincingly by Morris, the interpretation is defended with great vigor by supporters of the Palestinians in the West. And that even though those same Palestinians have declared without great discretion in fact the problem with Israel has nothing to do with settlements, but with its existence which remains unacceptable three generations after its founding.

Morris characterizes a rather elegantly, oscillations of the Palestinian popular discourse that preaches moderation while continuing to deny Israel's right to exist at the price "of elisions, of trickery and inaccuracies." He could describe with less reserve, as the expression of a propensity to lie. However, the official line is that these are the Israeli settlements that are the problem, and the reluctance of Prime Minister Netanyahu is to dismantle the fundamental obstacle to peace. In some quarters it adheres to this vision as the Gospel is the case more and more among Democrats. As Dennis Ross and David Makovsky wrote it by underestimating their new book, Myths, Illusions, and Peace: A New Direction for America in the Middle East, "those who are left ... tend to be the ignore the ideological opposition to Israel's existence. "

For the Democrats who voted for Barack Obama, and observe with concern the encirclement of Israel by armed forces although zealots who have sworn to destroy it, how the president handled the Prime Minister Netanyahu during their first meeting resulted in some discomfort. The Obama administration has put his finger on Israeli settlements and focused on their own, minimizing the importance of the Palestinian refusal. She organized leaking to tell the world how little respect she showed the newly elected leader of Israel. And Vice President Biden pointedly admonished supporters of Israel during a recent conference of AIPAC. We must consider all this as evidence of a deliberate plan to involve the Arab world in the peace process by showing that the policy U.S. vis-à-vis Israel has changed. Starting from there, we can consider how Obama has rejected Israel's arms as the diplomatic equivalent of a Hail Mary intended to improve the plight of President Abbas to strengthen him and other moderate relative to persuade the Arab masses to finally accept a Jewish state.

course, rather than enhancing the stature of the moderates, rather than reducing the influence of those who openly say they want the destruction of Israel, the administration's maneuver Obama may well have the opposite effect. The speech that Palestinians in the West where they profess to accept a two state solution is undoubtedly accompanied by a speech to their people when they assure him they will refuse to accept this solution, and it does not appear that there on this significant development, as Morris says.

The intentional distancing of the Authority vis-à-vis Israel will strengthen those who have always believed, and continue to believe that over time, support from America to Israel can s etiolation and with it Israel's ability survive. In the Arab world, those who believe that this is indeed the case, and there are many, think that the insistence of the U.S. administration that wants to be "honest broker" is proof that, finally, support U.S. to Israel began to erode. For them it is a matter of time and there is no need to pretend to be interested in a two-state solution. If true, the Obama administration, wanting to do well, will inadvertently brought a serious blow to prospects for peace in the Middle East.

Forget ideology, politics is essential

Binyamin Netanyahu
had much luck in the first 100 days of his second term as prime minister Israel (...) With the lull in the Territories and Borders, he was able to work towards achieving its main objective: to consolidate its political status.

When asked before the last election, how he had changed since his first term, he replied: I learned to be a politician. I saw how Sharon and Olmert behaved towards people and other politicians, and I built. I realized that politics was a "people business" and I learned to listen at meetings.
Netanyahu may be pleased with him after the first 100 days in office. It moved from right to the center of the political spectrum agreeing on the principle of two states for two peoples that has passed by without any real opposition Likud. His coalition is stable, the most eminent ministers are supporting him and are responsible for little leaks defamatory to him. The opposition led by Tzipi Livni, Netanyahu is neutralized since he stole his reason to exist: support for a Palestinian state.

His new political position has not been without sacrifice. That cost him a cynical betrayal of the ideas he believed in the past, both in the political field than in the economic sphere. (...) For the new Bibi, as with Sharon at the time, the ideology is the prerogative of the naive, it changes its policy of immediate objectives. That's why he decided to support the idea of two states for two peoples and to raise taxes. /.

SYRIA DEMANDS THE GOLAN "ON A SHELF OR" The Revolt of the Uighurs

At a press conference by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem in the presence of his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier, the chief of Syrian diplomacy required to put this point to the most clearly as possible: "We want to recover the Golan without any conditions, because this land is ours, and we demand to receive it on a platter of gold and not money!" He added that the indirect talks between Israel and Syria do resume "that will lorsque'Israël clearly shown its desire for peace" (translation: "to be committed to withdraw from the Golan without conditions ").
The German minister noted "the Syrian desire to fit into the peace process" and "asked Damascus to play its role in the pacification of the region" ...

New Shoes Rubbing Back Of Ankle

is a serious step and long overdue, we talked about in The Link (in particular, No. 311, April 27): Uighurs want a new Islamic state. In the vast Xinjiang border of Pakistan, there is a very strong Muslim minority that seeks to detach the province and make it an Islamic state. has long Islamic imperialism which aims to expand Islam in the world and has succeeded very well to infiltrate - and more - Europe, Russia and America, seeks to awaken terrorist fundamentalism in China. We know that Saudi Arabia and Qatar have begun to invest the Uighur community in supporting them militarily, financially and ideologically. They have a lot going for it: proximity to Pakistan where Islam is plagued by Islamism, Afghanistan which is the sanctuary of Taliban and bin Laden and close, Iran and Turkey. As we see it is an obvious synergy that underlies the attempted revolt brutally suppressed by China. The stakes are high for her because this revolt may extend to two volatile provinces, Tibet and Mongolia.

principle, as Jews, we have sympathy for minorities seeking to preserve their identity and become independent. But it is important to recognize the exceptions and not fall consistently into a trap. We saw with the Palestinians that has cost us. There is no Palestinian people, any more than the Israeli people: there is the Jewish people and Arab people are part of which Palestinians are in overwhelming majority of Syrians and Jordanians. The idea of a Palestinian people is a recent creation of the 60 whose inventors are nothing other than Ben Bella and Fidel Castro to foment anti-Western revolt and transform the Israeli-Arab war of independence against colonialism. Arguably no ill will of Tibetans and Uighurs when they want to preserve their identity, the Chinese communist regime has made the mistake of wanting to break with ideology. But when trying to carve up China like we did with Serbia by stealing "his" Kosovo can not but disagree. But when in addition, under the pretext of identity, we want to anchor the most fanatical Islamism and the intention of conquering the world unite under Islam, then we must vigorously fight these so-called revolt in the name of freedom that only seek to destroy.

You can be sure that henceforth the "useful idiots", pacifists and human hommistes, restless and will start mass demonstrations against China.
Instead, we must support China by reminding him that the best remedy against this type of rebellion and offer the best being, education and progress with one major benefit is to free them of obscurantism and of Islamist barbarism.
We will come back very quickly site

The new anti-Semitism in the circles of the European Intelligentsia

The new anti-Semitism in Europe is a new stage in anti-Semitism and has a form of discrimination against Jews as a people. The new antisemitism hides its true essence, claiming that it is a legitimate criticism against Israel's actions in the territories. However, anti-Semitism as anti-Zionism appears through the negation of the rights of the Jewish people a state and negation of the historical relationship of Jews to the land of Israel and the ancient claim that Jews control the world with their riches.

ago in Europe three design groups anti-Semitic extreme right, the second generation of immigrants from Islamic countries and the intelligentsia.
Professor Yehuda Bauer, Department of Holocaust Studies The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has published several research papers on the new antisemitism. In 1985, his book: "The anti-Semitic wave in the contemporary world: Myth and Reality" was published and he has also published articles on this subject in several journals.

Professor Bauer refers in his research to the waves of anti-Semitism that swept Europe after the Second World War. He divides these waves of anti-Semitism in several cons-current:

- The first wave - 1958 - 1960

- The second wave - 1968 - 1972

- The Third Wave - 1987 - 1992

- The Fourth Wave - 1999 to present day

Each of these cons-currents had different origins and some of them are related to economic events that occurred in Europe. However, all These cons-currents have a common basis. According to Professor Bauer, there is a latent anti-Semitism that is waiting to come to light as a result of some external crisis. Each of these cons-current is related to events that occurred in the Near East, the system of relations between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The first wave was tied after the Sinai War, the second began after the Six Day War, the third after the first intifada and the war of the Peace of Galilee and the last, after the second intifada and everything happened next. According to Professor Bauer

, the phenomenon characteristic of all waves is that the new anti-Semitism is different from anti-Semitism as expressed in the past, and that was mainly characterized by the weaker strata of the population, it is now the Antisemitism in the medium and high social class. It is an intellectual phenomenon common in the media, universities and among academic circles. These are the ranks of the European left.

Two crises have spawned the new phenomenon: the Holocaust and the creation of the State of Israel. The Holocaust has created discomfort among Europeans vis-à-vis Jews. Professor Bauer defines the situation as a life alongside 6 million ghosts. The situation has created a dangerous and cruel mutation in European culture.

The creation of the State of Israel has created a feeling of relief. The Europeans brought their support to the creation of the state, as an expression of their disgust vis-à-vis the anti-Semitic past and to atone for what the Jews of Europe had suffered. They hoped that Jews would find their homes in Israel.

But the creation of the State of Israel has caused the worsening of relations between Israel and Arab countries and escalation of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Arab-Israeli conflict has created a real tragedy for the Palestinians. One of the fundamental principles of design of the European left is the support of peoples fighting for their independence. The problem of refugees, has added the problem of Israeli occupation in 1967 and the Left is fundamentally opposed to the occupation.

but now-Semitism that was latent - was linked to the Palestinian tragedy and gave Jews the label of mass murderers and Nazis. The label stuck to the Israelis allowed the European Intelligentsia free themselves psychologically mental problems caused by the Holocaust. In this context, the facts do not matter. Since the beginning of the second intifada, about 2,000 Palestinians were killed, which represents 1 / 6 the number of Jews brought from Hungary to Auschwitz in a single day during the spring of 1944. The left sees Palestinian terrorism as a struggle against the occupation, a reaction against the Israeli actions, not the reverse. Their support of the Palestinian struggle, as a people oppressed for their independence, has led to growing opposition to the very existence of the State of Israel. Among the circles of the European intelligentsia, have reached the conclusion that support the creation of the State of Israel was a historic mistake indelible. According

Professor Bauer, the new anti-Semitism is dangerous, because he was born at the same time as Islamic anti-Semitism. Muslim media have adopted the Nazi ideology by adapting to their needs. Millions of Muslims are exposed daily to a genocidal incitement against Jews and against Israel, and thus, the two waves meet, the wave of European anti-Semitism and the wave of Muslim anti-Semitism, a threat of genocide against the Jews. The European left has actually attached to radical Islam and Ahmedinijjad who openly call for the extermination of the State of Israel, which will bring destruction to the eradication of most of the population.

Professor Bauer does not preclude criticism against Israeli policies. Anti-Zionism is not necessarily anti-Semitic. But denying the existence of Israel as a state without the requirement of the cancellation of all states nationalists - it is anti-Semitism and racism. Those who say that only Jews have no right to their independence and are anti-Jews when they exclude only Jews of the general principle for nationalistic reasons - they are racist and antisemitic.

The European left will say: the State of Israel was created because the Jews have the right to self-definition as any other people. The historical relationship of Jews to the land of Israel is an undeniable historical fact. However, the feeling of guilt of the West vis-à-vis the Holocaust resulted in the UN decision of 1947 for the creation of the state, but the process began in 1917 with the Balfour Declaration, the recognition by the League of Nations of the establishment a national home for Jews in Israel and the founding of the British Mandatory government in 1922. The Holocaust has accelerated the creation of the state but it is not the sole reason for its founding. The Palestinians have missed the opportunity to create a state of their own in 1937 and 1948, and during the entire period between 1948 and 1967, while under Arab rule. Even in 1967, they received a new opportunity, when Prime Minister Levy Eshkol said he was ready to make territory in exchange for peace. What happened after the disdain of the proposed Eshkol is the fault of both parties.

The new anti-Judaism

Professor Irwin Kotler is a lecturer in law at McGill University and member of the Canadian Parliament. Kotler has published an article entitled "Human Rights and the new anti-Judaism / alert.

In his article, Kotler explains the essential difference between classical anti-Semitism and the new anti-Judaism. The classic anti-Semitism is discrimination or denial of the rights of Jews to live as an equal member status in a free society. The new isolates and discriminates Judaism Israel and the Jewish people by discrimination and differentiation in the international arena and means Israel and the Jewish people as a target for extermination.

Kotler proposes a system of indices for identifying the nature and significance of the new anti-Judaism. These indexes are based on the principles of discrimination and equality in the constitutions of states and international laws. Kotler describes

13 indices:

a. Antisemitism existential or extermination - designating terrorist organizations openly calling for Israel's annihilation and genocide of Jews, religious awards extremist Muslim clerics calling for the extermination of Israel and Jews as a religious duty , Iran calling for erasing Israel off the map and declares his intention to use nuclear weapons to carry out genocide.

b. The political anti-Semitism - denoting the negation of the Jewish people's right to self definition, the negation of the legitimacy and existence of the State of Israel and demonization of Israel, described as the symbol of the violation of rights rights.

c. The ideological anti-Semitism - which is expressed by the decision of the United Nations - officially canceled, but whose impact is still felt - that "Zionism is equivalent to racism," the critical Israel as a "country of apartheid" and the defamation of Israel as a "Nazi country".

d. Theological anti-Semitism - designating Islamic antisemitism which sees Jews and Judaism in the enemy of Islam and the murder of Jews is a religious precept and Christian theological antisemitism, which sees the Church heir of the status before God of Judaism and therefore considers that the land of Israel belongs to the Church and not the Jewish people and the State of Israel was created illegally.

e. The cultural anti-Semitism - designating the new trend academic and intellectual circles to give legitimacy to anti-Semitism by denying the legitimacy of the state of Israel.

f. The European anti-Semitism - designating the new and recent eruption of anti-Semitism in Europe, which is expressed by the attack on synagogues, schools, Jewish institutions, persons identified as Jews and propaganda against Israel horror and Jews, while demonizing Israel and denying the right to defend itself against terrorism. The anti-Semitic activity is common to the right and left, who organize events where they openly called "Death the Jews ".

g. The anti-Judaism on the international scene: the denial of equality before the law of Israel. Israel has become a sort of" collective Jew "and is treated as the Jew is treated individually by non-Jewish community. discriminative relationship with Israel is expressed in the Convention against Racism in Durban but it shows a consistent pattern among the different UN agencies and primarily by the delegation of the UN Human Man.

h. The anti-Judaism Administrative: preventing the participation of Israel and Jewish organizations and non-governmental associations regional.

i. Anti-Semitism was "formed" by law - after the UN decision that Zionism was revealed as a cover for anti-Semitism, the method has changed and now the defamation against Israel refers to about human rights. The UN is particularly active in this regard.

j. The economic antisemitism, designating the Arab boycott. In the past, anti-Semitism expressed by economic discrimination against Jews in housing, education and employment but requires the Arab boycott of companies wishing to have commercial relations with Arab countries to sign a contract requiring them to boycott Israel, Jews do not use and do not give progress to those already employed.

k. The denial of the Holocaust - The Jews are accused of having invented the Holocaust, of extorting compensation from Germany and Israel have created "illegally" on Palestinian land. The meaning of this last argument is the negation of Jewish history - the Palestinians are the real owners of the land - and the denial of their future, that is to say, their right to a country.

l. Racist terrorism against Jews - referring to the attempts of factors international terrorists to carry out terrorist acts against Jews and against Israel, for example, the attacks of Hizbollah and El Kaida against Jewish institutions and the attempt to Azrieli Towers bombing cons.

m. Antisemitism as government approval - to encourage designating a "culture of hatred" against Jews and against Israel by countries this through incitement in mosques, schools and media, for example The use of "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", slurs and symbols of blood and topics Classic anti-Semitism.

In conclusion, Professor Kotler emphasizes that he does not expect an attitude of discrimination towards Israel but would simply discriminated against, that is to ie the creation of different criteria to Israel compared to other countries.

message to Tehran?

After a long hiatus, the Israeli navy took over the traffic in the Suez Canal. One of three submarines Israeli Dolphin-class has recently been identified in the channel, as part of exercises undertaken in the Red Sea.

military source, the decision was taken very recently and is a genuine "policy shift" from the Navy. In 2005, the Commander in Chief of the Navy, David Ben-Bashat, had decided to ban the movement of its ships in the canal because of growing threats in the area.
The Dolphin-class but crossed the Suez Canal last month - from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. According to military officials, the submarine was submerged and was not so clearly visible as it crossed the canal.
The meaning of this new policy is still unknown. However, it can be interpreted as a message to Iran and a demonstration of strengthened ties between Egypt and Israel.
In the event of a conflict with Iran if Israel chose to use its three Dolphin-class devices - which, according to foreign reports, are capable of firing nuclear-tipped missiles in Besides serving as a platform for second strike - the quickest route is still the Suez Canal.

The only way to reach the Gulf of Oman without having to refuel will pass through the canal, while a route skirting the African continent would require submarines to stop twice en route.

How To Renew A Temporary Visitor Drivers Lic

Normalization with Israel is not interested in the Arab world

But according to Israeli sources, "the U.S. can not get any agreement on the Arab normalization with Israel, even in case of Israeli withdrawal from all territories ". "And in this case," the senior official added, "it is unclear how the U.S. could continue to only require that concessions from Israel, such as stopping all Jewish construction in Judea Samaria. " Barack Obama hoped, however, get the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia that it affects other Arab countries in the direction desired by the White House. For now, the contacts continue between the U.S. Administration and Arab capitals, but none of them wants to give the feeling of "betraying the cause" by engaging in any normalization with Israel. That says it all about their desire for peace, and some say even their desire to see the creation of a Palestinian state! The Defence Minister Ehud Barak returned from his visit to the United States and his talks with George Mitchell, with some optimism: "We discussed the Israeli-Palestinian issue but also the prospect of a regional peace and normalization with Arab countries. We are not in a deadlock on the issue of construction in Judea and Samaria. We said that we are ready to do something concrete on this point but if we see acts of the same magnitude of the Palestinians and the Arab world in our direction. " But Barak said that any agreement would not affect the construction of 2,000 housing units recently decided by the Israeli government.
Obama wanted from the Arab countries a clear timetable leading to normalization with Israel, but at the last meeting of the Islamic Conference in Damascus, Arab countries had been clear: "Let Israel withdraws from First of all territories, and then we will agree to talk about a possible normalization! "...

As stated by one of the victims of this gang, Mr. Douieb, this indictment is lightweight and scandalous
We share the emotion, the mother of Ilan's family in her community, as well as defenders of human rights and those who fight against antisemitism. With Ms. Halimi, we have the same feelings of bitterness and abandonment. The child French Jew, Ilan Halimi was the first to see the kind of victim, and killed because Jewish in France since the Holocaust. The
