change perceptions ... Anne

At a friend a few months ago, I was drawing with his son who was to have three years (?).
He told me (in other words): "take a number of pastels in your hand and make circles with it."
What I did ...
few moments later, seeing what I had done, he said, laughing: "you do barbel! You make barbel!"
I said to myself: "Bin there, he asks me to do that and then he laughs and says I am the barbel!
It does not make it clear, but I, immediately after his comment drew a little cat in the right corner of barbel, with three small circles above his head.
I told him: "Well no, it's not barbels. This is because the kitten was too things in his head and it gets all mixed. You see, the red line because he wants to ride. The blue one is the design. The yellow is ... "
Spontaneously, he said:" the worst green because he wants to swim?! "
His eyes lit up.
The barb was now a sense the sense that it would give him.
My friend asked if he wanted to hang in his room and he nods.
A little duct tape and presto! he went in his room hung on the wall and the drawing is still there!

Jordi Ferreiro and books

I find it very these inspiring workshops Jordi Ferreiro on books. Several topics were discussed during the workshops which books as objects, books and body book and action, the book not as a book ...
The workshops were conducted with children aged 5 to 12 years Museu Casa Barral in the village of Calafell Spain.
As you can see from the photos, the children used old books to make their creations. Super!

Great Britain: Jewish schools in danger

The "Jewish Chronicle", spokesman of the Jewish community was the headline on Friday: "The decision of the Court of Appeal plunges the Jewish school in deep crisis"

Indeed, organized Jewish community in Britain is now caught in a storm that may have adverse effects on the future of its educational network. A Tribunal has in fact just declare "that the denial of a Jewish school to accept students from non-Jews is racism." The case began with the refusal to accept the JFS School a student of Jewish father but whose mother had had a conversion process reformed. This refusal of the school had been endorsed by the Grand Rabbi of Great Britain itself.

The father appealed this decision to a court a year ago, and then the judges had agreed with the headteacher for the following reason: "A Jewish school, like any other religious school, is right to set its own criteria for admission of its students. " The father has turned to a Court of Appeals on June 25 last, returned a verdict that exactly the opposite the previous one: "The acceptance of a student in a Jewish school, as in any other religious school can not be done on basis of ethnicity or religion." This decision has caused such a shock wave in the British Jewish community has even been condemned by the British leader of Reform Judaism, Dany Bayfield, who called it a "disaster" and "insulting."

Thus, according to the verdict that could set a precedent, a Jewish school could no longer refuse, not only a student whose mother was converted by the process reformed, but any non-Jewish student who wishes to enter for various reasons: proximity, quality of teaching or coaching etc.. JFS School said it will make itself appeal this decision to the House of Lords as "the decision of the Court of Appeal may profoundly modify the operation of the school and the teaching is lavished. Although "criticizing the refusal of the JFS school to accept children of mothers converted reformed", Dany Bayfield announced that " 100% would support the actions of the United Synagogue (Orthodox) to change the verdict of the Court of Appeals. "

The school system JFS is one of the most famous and prestigious in Britain, and is the largest in Europe. It serves students whose degrees of Jewish practices are very different, sometimes even nonexistent, but imposes its rules in an internal life based on Halacha. The bodies of British Jewry said they were very worried about the future of these schools. Indeed, Jewish schools, JFS and the network are known to have a level of education internal life and high quality. Many non-Jewish families would like nothing better to be able to enroll their children in front of a public education increasingly poor and a progressive loss of moral values in these institutions.

The Grand Rabbi of Great Britain, Rabbi (Sir) Jonathan Sacks wrote in the "Jewish Chronicle" that what is meant by the Court of Appeal, is that Judaism is a form of racism, when in fact it is nothing, because anyone who sincerely desires can convert to Judaism. Our criteria are religious and not racial or ethnic .

He said that even if the House of Lords gave no reason for the Jewish school, he and the leaders of Orthodox Judaism British seize the European courts.

A reading of the Jewish press from across the Channel, one can easily see where the confusion has now plunged the British Jewish community, and educational bodies in particular, following this decision. And Jewish schools in Europe could begin to fear the growing phenomenon on the continent.

Obama sees red, but what the fly bites? Obama and Palestine

Freddy Eytan international attention to the intricacies of Israeli politics.

Claiming to be the policeman of the world, the general director of the show diplomacy, simply reverse the roles: Israel is now the hardline, the villain and the need to master martial and punish, while Korea North and Iran are countries that have the right to rain or shine on nuclear issues. They may laugh wildly international conventions and threaten the stability of the planet without major difficulty.
America Obama wants to do and leaves even the dialogue. The Diplomacy requires skill and tact in relations with states, but it is also conducted with firmness, determination and deterrence. In this regard, American diplomacy has failed. Despite appearances and tough talk, Obama shows that weakness and helplessness.

By denouncing the Israeli policy, systematically and daily, it encourages the extremists of Hamas to continue to sabotage any peace process and pose preconditions Mahmoud Abbas by discouraging to resume negotiations with Benjamin Netanyahu.

But what got Obama?

Would he have the Netanyahu left the government or he prefers the fall of totalitarian regimes and obscure? As with North Korea, the policy of the American'administration is ambiguous and perplexed with the Arabs and Iran, and in fact it does not really exist.

In this context, Israel should continue its efforts to prove its good intentions and his unwavering friendship the U.S. and wait patiently coherence and pragmatism in diplomacy of President Obama. Jerusalem must also include the U.S. president that the Jewish state is still sovereign and independent and democratically elected government universal suffrage, will act against threats on its own interests.

by Jeff Robbins, Wall Street Journal

Original title: Obama and Palestine

The distancing of the Authority with Israel is likely to strengthen those believe that U.S. support for that country may end.
In his new book, "A state, two states: a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian" historian Benny Morris tells the story of the deadly Palestinian refusal to accept Israel really tan State Jew in the heart of a Middle East uniformly Muslim. Morris reviewed the ongoing rejection of the Palestinians in particular and Arabs in general a two-state solution. This denial indicates he was "the continuing commitment of the Palestinian leadership ... in the history of their national movement until today.

course, the refusal of Palestinian politicians, academics and clergy agree to accept a Jewish state forever beside a Palestinian state is both a dirty little secret, and a huge 800-pound gorilla in the middle of the room when the discussion is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

As Morris notes, the Palestinians have given for over 80 years of evidence "persuasive" they do not want a Jewish state in the region, regardless of frontiers, and whatever the policy pursued by this or that Israeli government with regard to settlements. The Palestinian rejection of a Jewish state of any kind is not one of the recurring themes of conflict, but its dominant theme. Thus in the 30s, the Palestinians rejected a two-state solution which would have created a Jewish state in less than 20 percent of Palestine. In the years 40, the Palestinians rejected the partition plan of United Nations which created a Jewish state in less than half the arable land of Palestine. From 1948 to 1967, when Israel was in no way present in Gaza, the West Bank or East Jerusalem, the Arabs did not create a Palestinian state. After the 1967 war, when Israel accepted the formula of land against peace in Resolution 242 of the UN, the Arab world, including the Palestinians, rejected it. In 2000, when Israel has supported a plan proposed by President Clinton that would have created an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem capital, Gaza in its entirety and virtually all the West Bank, Palestinians have also rejected, and instead of approving it launched a campaign of bombings that killed 1,100 Israelis and caused as a result of death of 4,000 Palestinians.

And in 2006, when Israel withdrew unilaterally from the Gaza Strip by force, thousands of settlers, drawing a line on the Jewish presence, the Palestinians responded by firing rockets against centers Israeli civilian population. They put on Israel faced with the choice of leaving a detestable increasing number of its civilians under fire from rocket attacks daily, or to enter Gaza to put an end to these attacks with inevitable losses in the local population. For its part, the Hamas leadership who had murdered many of his opponents and ended the military takeover of Gaza, was more than happy to exchange for hundreds of Palestinian lives against a wave of international criticism of Israel, a predictable consequence of its efforts to protect its civilians against the firing of rockets.

Recently, Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority president told The Washington Post that the Palestinians had once again rejected a two-state solution. Abbas told the Post that the former Prime Minister Olmert had recently offered an independent Palestinian state with all of Gaza, a capital in East Jerusalem and 97 percent of the West Bank. Abbas flatly rejected the offer again. "The gap was too big" Abbas said without elaborating.

Meanwhile, Abbas has refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, telling the Post that he preferred to let time do its work, confident that American pressure on Israel and international weaken its future position. "Meanwhile," Abbas said "things are going well in the West Bank ... the people have a comfortable life." And last week, despite many new difusées in the Western media that Hamas was trying to "moderate" his position on Israel, the latter informed the former President Carter, whose credulity on this conflict is a source of wonder, of what he has already made it clear: he will never recognize Israel's right to exist, whatever the circumstances.

The problem is that all this coincides with conformist views increasingly hegemonic: they amount to the idea that these are the Israeli settlements in the West Bank are the obstacle to peace between Palestinians and Israelis. Despite the picture painted of a so convincingly by Morris, the interpretation is defended with great vigor by supporters of the Palestinians in the West. And that even though those same Palestinians have declared without great discretion in fact the problem with Israel has nothing to do with settlements, but with its existence which remains unacceptable three generations after its founding.

Morris characterizes a rather elegantly, oscillations of the Palestinian popular discourse that preaches moderation while continuing to deny Israel's right to exist at the price "of elisions, of trickery and inaccuracies." He could describe with less reserve, as the expression of a propensity to lie. However, the official line is that these are the Israeli settlements that are the problem, and the reluctance of Prime Minister Netanyahu is to dismantle the fundamental obstacle to peace. In some quarters it adheres to this vision as the Gospel is the case more and more among Democrats. As Dennis Ross and David Makovsky wrote it by underestimating their new book, Myths, Illusions, and Peace: A New Direction for America in the Middle East, "those who are left ... tend to be the ignore the ideological opposition to Israel's existence. "

For the Democrats who voted for Barack Obama, and observe with concern the encirclement of Israel by armed forces although zealots who have sworn to destroy it, how the president handled the Prime Minister Netanyahu during their first meeting resulted in some discomfort. The Obama administration has put his finger on Israeli settlements and focused on their own, minimizing the importance of the Palestinian refusal. She organized leaking to tell the world how little respect she showed the newly elected leader of Israel. And Vice President Biden pointedly admonished supporters of Israel during a recent conference of AIPAC. We must consider all this as evidence of a deliberate plan to involve the Arab world in the peace process by showing that the policy U.S. vis-à-vis Israel has changed. Starting from there, we can consider how Obama has rejected Israel's arms as the diplomatic equivalent of a Hail Mary intended to improve the plight of President Abbas to strengthen him and other moderate relative to persuade the Arab masses to finally accept a Jewish state.

course, rather than enhancing the stature of the moderates, rather than reducing the influence of those who openly say they want the destruction of Israel, the administration's maneuver Obama may well have the opposite effect. The speech that Palestinians in the West where they profess to accept a two state solution is undoubtedly accompanied by a speech to their people when they assure him they will refuse to accept this solution, and it does not appear that there on this significant development, as Morris says.

The intentional distancing of the Authority vis-à-vis Israel will strengthen those who have always believed, and continue to believe that over time, support from America to Israel can s etiolation and with it Israel's ability survive. In the Arab world, those who believe that this is indeed the case, and there are many, think that the insistence of the U.S. administration that wants to be "honest broker" is proof that, finally, support U.S. to Israel began to erode. For them it is a matter of time and there is no need to pretend to be interested in a two-state solution. If true, the Obama administration, wanting to do well, will inadvertently brought a serious blow to prospects for peace in the Middle East.

Forget ideology, politics is essential

Binyamin Netanyahu
had much luck in the first 100 days of his second term as prime minister Israel (...) With the lull in the Territories and Borders, he was able to work towards achieving its main objective: to consolidate its political status.

When asked before the last election, how he had changed since his first term, he replied: I learned to be a politician. I saw how Sharon and Olmert behaved towards people and other politicians, and I built. I realized that politics was a "people business" and I learned to listen at meetings.
Netanyahu may be pleased with him after the first 100 days in office. It moved from right to the center of the political spectrum agreeing on the principle of two states for two peoples that has passed by without any real opposition Likud. His coalition is stable, the most eminent ministers are supporting him and are responsible for little leaks defamatory to him. The opposition led by Tzipi Livni, Netanyahu is neutralized since he stole his reason to exist: support for a Palestinian state.

His new political position has not been without sacrifice. That cost him a cynical betrayal of the ideas he believed in the past, both in the political field than in the economic sphere. (...) For the new Bibi, as with Sharon at the time, the ideology is the prerogative of the naive, it changes its policy of immediate objectives. That's why he decided to support the idea of two states for two peoples and to raise taxes. /.

SYRIA DEMANDS THE GOLAN "ON A SHELF OR" The Revolt of the Uighurs

At a press conference by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem in the presence of his German counterpart Frank Walter Steinmeier, the chief of Syrian diplomacy required to put this point to the most clearly as possible: "We want to recover the Golan without any conditions, because this land is ours, and we demand to receive it on a platter of gold and not money!" He added that the indirect talks between Israel and Syria do resume "that will lorsque'Israël clearly shown its desire for peace" (translation: "to be committed to withdraw from the Golan without conditions ").
The German minister noted "the Syrian desire to fit into the peace process" and "asked Damascus to play its role in the pacification of the region" ...

New Shoes Rubbing Back Of Ankle

is a serious step and long overdue, we talked about in The Link (in particular, No. 311, April 27): Uighurs want a new Islamic state. In the vast Xinjiang border of Pakistan, there is a very strong Muslim minority that seeks to detach the province and make it an Islamic state. has long Islamic imperialism which aims to expand Islam in the world and has succeeded very well to infiltrate - and more - Europe, Russia and America, seeks to awaken terrorist fundamentalism in China. We know that Saudi Arabia and Qatar have begun to invest the Uighur community in supporting them militarily, financially and ideologically. They have a lot going for it: proximity to Pakistan where Islam is plagued by Islamism, Afghanistan which is the sanctuary of Taliban and bin Laden and close, Iran and Turkey. As we see it is an obvious synergy that underlies the attempted revolt brutally suppressed by China. The stakes are high for her because this revolt may extend to two volatile provinces, Tibet and Mongolia.

principle, as Jews, we have sympathy for minorities seeking to preserve their identity and become independent. But it is important to recognize the exceptions and not fall consistently into a trap. We saw with the Palestinians that has cost us. There is no Palestinian people, any more than the Israeli people: there is the Jewish people and Arab people are part of which Palestinians are in overwhelming majority of Syrians and Jordanians. The idea of a Palestinian people is a recent creation of the 60 whose inventors are nothing other than Ben Bella and Fidel Castro to foment anti-Western revolt and transform the Israeli-Arab war of independence against colonialism. Arguably no ill will of Tibetans and Uighurs when they want to preserve their identity, the Chinese communist regime has made the mistake of wanting to break with ideology. But when trying to carve up China like we did with Serbia by stealing "his" Kosovo can not but disagree. But when in addition, under the pretext of identity, we want to anchor the most fanatical Islamism and the intention of conquering the world unite under Islam, then we must vigorously fight these so-called revolt in the name of freedom that only seek to destroy.

You can be sure that henceforth the "useful idiots", pacifists and human hommistes, restless and will start mass demonstrations against China.
Instead, we must support China by reminding him that the best remedy against this type of rebellion and offer the best being, education and progress with one major benefit is to free them of obscurantism and of Islamist barbarism.
We will come back very quickly site

The new anti-Semitism in the circles of the European Intelligentsia

The new anti-Semitism in Europe is a new stage in anti-Semitism and has a form of discrimination against Jews as a people. The new antisemitism hides its true essence, claiming that it is a legitimate criticism against Israel's actions in the territories. However, anti-Semitism as anti-Zionism appears through the negation of the rights of the Jewish people a state and negation of the historical relationship of Jews to the land of Israel and the ancient claim that Jews control the world with their riches.

ago in Europe three design groups anti-Semitic extreme right, the second generation of immigrants from Islamic countries and the intelligentsia.
Professor Yehuda Bauer, Department of Holocaust Studies The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, has published several research papers on the new antisemitism. In 1985, his book: "The anti-Semitic wave in the contemporary world: Myth and Reality" was published and he has also published articles on this subject in several journals.

Professor Bauer refers in his research to the waves of anti-Semitism that swept Europe after the Second World War. He divides these waves of anti-Semitism in several cons-current:

- The first wave - 1958 - 1960

- The second wave - 1968 - 1972

- The Third Wave - 1987 - 1992

- The Fourth Wave - 1999 to present day

Each of these cons-currents had different origins and some of them are related to economic events that occurred in Europe. However, all These cons-currents have a common basis. According to Professor Bauer, there is a latent anti-Semitism that is waiting to come to light as a result of some external crisis. Each of these cons-current is related to events that occurred in the Near East, the system of relations between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The first wave was tied after the Sinai War, the second began after the Six Day War, the third after the first intifada and the war of the Peace of Galilee and the last, after the second intifada and everything happened next. According to Professor Bauer

, the phenomenon characteristic of all waves is that the new anti-Semitism is different from anti-Semitism as expressed in the past, and that was mainly characterized by the weaker strata of the population, it is now the Antisemitism in the medium and high social class. It is an intellectual phenomenon common in the media, universities and among academic circles. These are the ranks of the European left.

Two crises have spawned the new phenomenon: the Holocaust and the creation of the State of Israel. The Holocaust has created discomfort among Europeans vis-à-vis Jews. Professor Bauer defines the situation as a life alongside 6 million ghosts. The situation has created a dangerous and cruel mutation in European culture.

The creation of the State of Israel has created a feeling of relief. The Europeans brought their support to the creation of the state, as an expression of their disgust vis-à-vis the anti-Semitic past and to atone for what the Jews of Europe had suffered. They hoped that Jews would find their homes in Israel.

But the creation of the State of Israel has caused the worsening of relations between Israel and Arab countries and escalation of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The Arab-Israeli conflict has created a real tragedy for the Palestinians. One of the fundamental principles of design of the European left is the support of peoples fighting for their independence. The problem of refugees, has added the problem of Israeli occupation in 1967 and the Left is fundamentally opposed to the occupation.

but now-Semitism that was latent - was linked to the Palestinian tragedy and gave Jews the label of mass murderers and Nazis. The label stuck to the Israelis allowed the European Intelligentsia free themselves psychologically mental problems caused by the Holocaust. In this context, the facts do not matter. Since the beginning of the second intifada, about 2,000 Palestinians were killed, which represents 1 / 6 the number of Jews brought from Hungary to Auschwitz in a single day during the spring of 1944. The left sees Palestinian terrorism as a struggle against the occupation, a reaction against the Israeli actions, not the reverse. Their support of the Palestinian struggle, as a people oppressed for their independence, has led to growing opposition to the very existence of the State of Israel. Among the circles of the European intelligentsia, have reached the conclusion that support the creation of the State of Israel was a historic mistake indelible. According

Professor Bauer, the new anti-Semitism is dangerous, because he was born at the same time as Islamic anti-Semitism. Muslim media have adopted the Nazi ideology by adapting to their needs. Millions of Muslims are exposed daily to a genocidal incitement against Jews and against Israel, and thus, the two waves meet, the wave of European anti-Semitism and the wave of Muslim anti-Semitism, a threat of genocide against the Jews. The European left has actually attached to radical Islam and Ahmedinijjad who openly call for the extermination of the State of Israel, which will bring destruction to the eradication of most of the population.

Professor Bauer does not preclude criticism against Israeli policies. Anti-Zionism is not necessarily anti-Semitic. But denying the existence of Israel as a state without the requirement of the cancellation of all states nationalists - it is anti-Semitism and racism. Those who say that only Jews have no right to their independence and are anti-Jews when they exclude only Jews of the general principle for nationalistic reasons - they are racist and antisemitic.

The European left will say: the State of Israel was created because the Jews have the right to self-definition as any other people. The historical relationship of Jews to the land of Israel is an undeniable historical fact. However, the feeling of guilt of the West vis-à-vis the Holocaust resulted in the UN decision of 1947 for the creation of the state, but the process began in 1917 with the Balfour Declaration, the recognition by the League of Nations of the establishment a national home for Jews in Israel and the founding of the British Mandatory government in 1922. The Holocaust has accelerated the creation of the state but it is not the sole reason for its founding. The Palestinians have missed the opportunity to create a state of their own in 1937 and 1948, and during the entire period between 1948 and 1967, while under Arab rule. Even in 1967, they received a new opportunity, when Prime Minister Levy Eshkol said he was ready to make territory in exchange for peace. What happened after the disdain of the proposed Eshkol is the fault of both parties.

The new anti-Judaism

Professor Irwin Kotler is a lecturer in law at McGill University and member of the Canadian Parliament. Kotler has published an article entitled "Human Rights and the new anti-Judaism / alert.

In his article, Kotler explains the essential difference between classical anti-Semitism and the new anti-Judaism. The classic anti-Semitism is discrimination or denial of the rights of Jews to live as an equal member status in a free society. The new isolates and discriminates Judaism Israel and the Jewish people by discrimination and differentiation in the international arena and means Israel and the Jewish people as a target for extermination.

Kotler proposes a system of indices for identifying the nature and significance of the new anti-Judaism. These indexes are based on the principles of discrimination and equality in the constitutions of states and international laws. Kotler describes

13 indices:

a. Antisemitism existential or extermination - designating terrorist organizations openly calling for Israel's annihilation and genocide of Jews, religious awards extremist Muslim clerics calling for the extermination of Israel and Jews as a religious duty , Iran calling for erasing Israel off the map and declares his intention to use nuclear weapons to carry out genocide.

b. The political anti-Semitism - denoting the negation of the Jewish people's right to self definition, the negation of the legitimacy and existence of the State of Israel and demonization of Israel, described as the symbol of the violation of rights rights.

c. The ideological anti-Semitism - which is expressed by the decision of the United Nations - officially canceled, but whose impact is still felt - that "Zionism is equivalent to racism," the critical Israel as a "country of apartheid" and the defamation of Israel as a "Nazi country".

d. Theological anti-Semitism - designating Islamic antisemitism which sees Jews and Judaism in the enemy of Islam and the murder of Jews is a religious precept and Christian theological antisemitism, which sees the Church heir of the status before God of Judaism and therefore considers that the land of Israel belongs to the Church and not the Jewish people and the State of Israel was created illegally.

e. The cultural anti-Semitism - designating the new trend academic and intellectual circles to give legitimacy to anti-Semitism by denying the legitimacy of the state of Israel.

f. The European anti-Semitism - designating the new and recent eruption of anti-Semitism in Europe, which is expressed by the attack on synagogues, schools, Jewish institutions, persons identified as Jews and propaganda against Israel horror and Jews, while demonizing Israel and denying the right to defend itself against terrorism. The anti-Semitic activity is common to the right and left, who organize events where they openly called "Death the Jews ".

g. The anti-Judaism on the international scene: the denial of equality before the law of Israel. Israel has become a sort of" collective Jew "and is treated as the Jew is treated individually by non-Jewish community. discriminative relationship with Israel is expressed in the Convention against Racism in Durban but it shows a consistent pattern among the different UN agencies and primarily by the delegation of the UN Human Man.

h. The anti-Judaism Administrative: preventing the participation of Israel and Jewish organizations and non-governmental associations regional.

i. Anti-Semitism was "formed" by law - after the UN decision that Zionism was revealed as a cover for anti-Semitism, the method has changed and now the defamation against Israel refers to about human rights. The UN is particularly active in this regard.

j. The economic antisemitism, designating the Arab boycott. In the past, anti-Semitism expressed by economic discrimination against Jews in housing, education and employment but requires the Arab boycott of companies wishing to have commercial relations with Arab countries to sign a contract requiring them to boycott Israel, Jews do not use and do not give progress to those already employed.

k. The denial of the Holocaust - The Jews are accused of having invented the Holocaust, of extorting compensation from Germany and Israel have created "illegally" on Palestinian land. The meaning of this last argument is the negation of Jewish history - the Palestinians are the real owners of the land - and the denial of their future, that is to say, their right to a country.

l. Racist terrorism against Jews - referring to the attempts of factors international terrorists to carry out terrorist acts against Jews and against Israel, for example, the attacks of Hizbollah and El Kaida against Jewish institutions and the attempt to Azrieli Towers bombing cons.

m. Antisemitism as government approval - to encourage designating a "culture of hatred" against Jews and against Israel by countries this through incitement in mosques, schools and media, for example The use of "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", slurs and symbols of blood and topics Classic anti-Semitism.

In conclusion, Professor Kotler emphasizes that he does not expect an attitude of discrimination towards Israel but would simply discriminated against, that is to ie the creation of different criteria to Israel compared to other countries.

message to Tehran?

After a long hiatus, the Israeli navy took over the traffic in the Suez Canal. One of three submarines Israeli Dolphin-class has recently been identified in the channel, as part of exercises undertaken in the Red Sea.

military source, the decision was taken very recently and is a genuine "policy shift" from the Navy. In 2005, the Commander in Chief of the Navy, David Ben-Bashat, had decided to ban the movement of its ships in the canal because of growing threats in the area.
The Dolphin-class but crossed the Suez Canal last month - from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. According to military officials, the submarine was submerged and was not so clearly visible as it crossed the canal.
The meaning of this new policy is still unknown. However, it can be interpreted as a message to Iran and a demonstration of strengthened ties between Egypt and Israel.
In the event of a conflict with Iran if Israel chose to use its three Dolphin-class devices - which, according to foreign reports, are capable of firing nuclear-tipped missiles in Besides serving as a platform for second strike - the quickest route is still the Suez Canal.

The only way to reach the Gulf of Oman without having to refuel will pass through the canal, while a route skirting the African continent would require submarines to stop twice en route.

How To Renew A Temporary Visitor Drivers Lic

Normalization with Israel is not interested in the Arab world

But according to Israeli sources, "the U.S. can not get any agreement on the Arab normalization with Israel, even in case of Israeli withdrawal from all territories ". "And in this case," the senior official added, "it is unclear how the U.S. could continue to only require that concessions from Israel, such as stopping all Jewish construction in Judea Samaria. " Barack Obama hoped, however, get the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia that it affects other Arab countries in the direction desired by the White House. For now, the contacts continue between the U.S. Administration and Arab capitals, but none of them wants to give the feeling of "betraying the cause" by engaging in any normalization with Israel. That says it all about their desire for peace, and some say even their desire to see the creation of a Palestinian state! The Defence Minister Ehud Barak returned from his visit to the United States and his talks with George Mitchell, with some optimism: "We discussed the Israeli-Palestinian issue but also the prospect of a regional peace and normalization with Arab countries. We are not in a deadlock on the issue of construction in Judea and Samaria. We said that we are ready to do something concrete on this point but if we see acts of the same magnitude of the Palestinians and the Arab world in our direction. " But Barak said that any agreement would not affect the construction of 2,000 housing units recently decided by the Israeli government.
Obama wanted from the Arab countries a clear timetable leading to normalization with Israel, but at the last meeting of the Islamic Conference in Damascus, Arab countries had been clear: "Let Israel withdraws from First of all territories, and then we will agree to talk about a possible normalization! "...

National Bureau of Vigilance Conres Antisemitism and share the negative assessment, the discontent expressed by many correspondents, prompted by the indictment indulgent of the Advocate General at the trial of the assassins captors of Ilan Halimi was kidnapped on 21.01.2006, and detained by the barbaric gang, kidnapped, tortured and murdered, because a Jew, under the same conditions as Daniel Pearl.
As stated by one of the victims of this gang, Mr. Douieb, this indictment is lightweight and scandalous
We share the emotion, the mother of Ilan's family in her community, as well as defenders of human rights and those who fight against antisemitism. With Ms. Halimi, we have the same feelings of bitterness and abandonment. The child French Jew, Ilan Halimi was the first to see the kind of victim, and killed because Jewish in France since the Holocaust. The
BNVCA maintains that Ilan was so delighted, tortured and killed is because he was Jewish, and nothing else, and as such this fact aggravate anti-Semitism should have been applied to all proagonistes Fofana, without exception.
BNVCA We recall that, from the 13/02/2006, after the discovery of the battered body of Ilan Halimi had described the murder of anti-Semitic because of the elements he had to have.
While anti-Semitic acts have not disappeared, BNVCA considérère that the indictment in question is disappointing, nor sissuasif or copy. It gives the feeling of absolving a large part of the Gang of Barbarians, yet all of their own censcients responsibility in every gesture, every secondre, since the preparation of the abduction, the choice of their prey, until the death of Ilan poor, because Jew. We consider
with many of our correspondent that the meekness of the Advocate General in the matter leaves a bitter taste and incompleteness of what is expected of our court with a large J. It now appears more severe for the "robber" a bank for the murder of a French Jewish because.
This indictment is seen as somewhat reassuring for the future.
A rendezvous with history was missed today, and it certainly will mark our memories.

I Carly Subliminal Messgaes

"two states", one too many

two states proposed by Netanyahu, is one too many for the taste of French pacifists. In his speech of June 14, 2009, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has formally offered the Palestinians a solution of two states for two peoples, repeating for the umpteenth time following all the leaders of Israel since its creation, the will of the Jewish state living in peace with all neighbors.
However, Netanyahu did not find favor in the eyes of some commentators hex: those for whom Israel is by its mere presence an obstacle to peace.
"unacceptable demands" to the tune of "disproportionate use of force"

In his speech, Netanyahu reaffirmed the deep historical connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel and the sine qua not for peace: that the Jewish character of Israel is recognized by its neighbors.

other words, this false-Derche pretended to propose peace when in fact he wants his country is the homeland of his people alone! Racist, go! Worse even: Islamophobic!

No doubt our commentators, if they had held the microphone at the end of World War II, have found that ordinary Germans refuse to sit at a negotiating table with the Allies and would have regarded as outrageous as Gaulle requires that they recognize the defeated French in France ...

If they want to be Jews, then they are masochists, at least!

Another requirement of unconscionable Jewish leader: Palestinian state that he calls for should be demilitarized.

Demilitarized? Miss more than that! And how they will, then the courageous resistance to attack and destroy Israel? But it is not about war, we talk about a peace treaty!

Ah yes, yes! Why, then, our devotees hex they find "unacceptable requirement?

The Germans themselves at the end of the First World War, had no choice and when their neighbors have closed their eyes their rearmament, their respite was short-lived and their defeat even faster. Let

. Why

the same causes lead they have the same effect?

Today we are witnessing a flock of doves, the Pauvrepalestiniens, helpless against a powerful neighbor, Etatsionistelobbyjuif.

The first isolated on the international scene in the middle of just one billion three hundred million fellow fans of their case were genocide by the second (slightly less than thirteen million worldwide including six in Israel) point have seen their population multiplied by four since his arrival, there is a little over 40 years.

of myopia as an analytical tool

Myopia Zionist commentators today matched that of their elders who welcomed the Munich Agreement. Our contemporary media elites do not see the report, the less firm they lean against their conscience immaculate: they support the poor against the rich, the weak against the powerful, so good against evil.

Rich, what are the Israelis, of course: the Jews are all rich, it is not being anti-Semitic that convey this evidence. While many Israelis live below the poverty line.

But it serves them: yzavaikapas in sixty years of a life that began in poverty and marshes, match or exceed stale luminaries used to give lessons to the world from the rostrum of the UN. Unforgivable.

Rich are the Israelis and the poor are the Arabs in general and Palestinians in particular. Certainly, the Arab states possess 70% of the global black gold, but their leaders are not sharers, as it should of to show compassionate without ever seeking the origin of that poverty, failing to reverse the images d'Epinal, that of the usurer Yid wog like the poor.

Anyway, Netanyahu is a bastard who makes a right-wing political

the same way that the Jew is rich, Netanyahu is right. What about calling for a demilitarized Palestinian state, he places himself in the tradition of all the prime ministers who preceded him, whatever their political orientation (Yitzhak Rabin, Labor, Ehud Barak, Labor, Ariel Sharon, Likud and Kadima , and Ehud Olmert, Kadima) does not change the case.

That since the beginning of the Oslo process or near the demilitarization of an eventual Palestinian state is understood as the sine qua non for the success of the Israeli-Palestinian does not taken into account .

course, Netanyahu says he wants peace: Israelis and Palestinians "live freely, side by side in friendship and mutual respect. Every people has its flag, national anthem and his own government. Neither security nor threaten the survival of another, "he said. Fortunately

French commentators are not fooled!

What the Israelis want is a refusal of Palestinians and for that it imposes unacceptable conditions while pretending to take risks for peace.

Hence his request to the international community to take "clear commitments to ensure that in a future peace agreement, the territory controlled by the Palestinians be demilitarized."

We believe the statements of peace when Israel agrees to remove

The Israeli statements in favor of peace are legion and Netanyahu follows tradition: like Obama, he claims to desire "See the advent of a new era of reconciliation in our region. (...) The peace has always been that our people desire most ardently. Our prophets have given the world the vision of peace, we greet wishing us peace and our prayers end with the word peace. "

But if there really believed he would have already done, that peace, right? What do you mean "it takes two to make peace? Another excuse. You would not be a Zionist, sometimes?

And it is pure hypocrisy that he was ready to go "in Damascus, Riyadh, Beirut, everywhere, including in Jerusalem to meet with Arab leaders and discuss ways to end the conflict. He knows he will not get a single hit, the bastard!

But why, anyway? Why the gentle doves Pauvrepalestiniennes they systematically refuse proposals Sionistelobbyjuifs? They lose a great opportunity to confuse the enemy falcons. Too bad they do not want to take that risk ...

The historical link with the land of the Jews of Israel? And then what?

"The bond that unites the Jewish people and the land of Israel has existed for over 3500 years ... Our right to build our sovereign state here in the land of Israel, comes from a simple fact: it is the homeland of the Jewish people, this is our identity was forged. "

What nerve! 3500 years, it's gone past that is no longer reflect the era of the Internet and anti-Zionist parties. However, we must respect and compensation to a naqba aged 60.

Not to be confused with the Holocaust, which itself had ceased three years ago and should be denied or, if you want to go for a moderate, to disconnect the Middle East and supplications of the Mufti of Jerusalem to bury the Palestinian Jews in the beaches of this country ...

Benjamin Netanyahu has dared to say that the conflict would not happen until the Palestinians would not recognize Israel as a Jewish state. This minimum inalienable chair without discussion that any negotiations between any opponents yet is excessive when it comes to Jews.

Aware that his people with disabilities starts in world public opinion, Israeli Prime Minister has made a concession and unexpected unexpected: it did not require that recognition a precondition for talks, he called for their immediate resumption without preconditions.

Netanyahu to know anything about the comm '

should afford the advice of a true advisor, who is on the left to find favor in the eyes of French journalists, one that has proven itself with a Prime Minister, preferably French: it is a guarantee of quality, which is popular in Arab countries, it would help.

Hey, Pascal Boniface, he would not be available at this time?

Why we should ban the burqa in France

The burqa was therefore invited to the castle. This full veil worn by Muslim women, has been condemned on Monday at Versailles, by the Head of State. "(She) will not be welcome," he said, to loud applause from Congress. Earlier, MPs, led by Andre Gerin (PC), had demanded a commission of inquiry into this phenomenon and its possible ban. But this outfit repellent, which encloses the woman is a symptom. He reveals, more seriously, the thrust of Islamism in France.
is a parliamentary fact-finding mission which was responsible, ultimately, identify what fashion choices still marginal. It must be said that the French Muslim Council had indicated its opposition to a commission of inquiry, accused of "stigmatize Islam and Muslims in France": a specious argument, inviting them to be quiet. But the burqa veil are like the signs of submission and rejection of the rules of the secular republic (1). Must resolve to be challenged by his hosts?

When Nicolas Sarkozy complained: "Our model of integration does more, "he refrains from digging causes. They deserve, however, the" overhaul "promised when the president talks about the economic crisis, social, ecological. For this other forgotten crisis, multicultural that there is far more destabilizing. Aristotle: "The absence of national community is a factor of civil war, as citizens do not share the same values of civilization" (2). France leaves next test, refusing to confront those who reject its values.
The many Muslim Democrats can feel secured to an ideology that seeks ultimately to subvert the nation. Sarkozy Gold speaks when he says: "In the Republic, the Islamic religion should be respected as much as other religions." However, this does not prohibit inquiry, beyond the burqa, on fundamentalism in the cities. The nation may lose close eye on neo-colonization process engaged in territories already lost. This evidence, although the power must be addressed, otherwise than by the small end of the telescope and fearing to offend.

Why should fear defeat the Islamists, who behave more and more, France, in occupied territory and coming to show their real face in Iran? The household would still roll back the Enlightenment Islam, which is struggling to consolidate his place. Our "old country", so named by Sarkozy, would he have lost the desire to defend themselves?

What say the people of Iran
France needs even less afraid to ban the burqa or niqab, and even to condemn the veil as sexual fantasy imposed by machismo, that radical Islam behind these marks of servitude is being done to disallow the Iranians themselves. They forced their Islamic Republic, economically ruined, to unveil his dictatorial basis. Neda, beautiful student killed by ball on Saturday during a demonstration in Tehran, became the symbol of theocratic oppression on behalf of its prohibitions, faking votes and draw the crowds. Certainly, we will not see scroll at Paris, the Islamo-leftists who protested yesterday against Hamas with the plight of Palestinians. These outraged then only support tyranny. But, Iran is a nation aspiring to democracy that opened the way for a secular modernity. The mullahs' regime, which begins to fracture from within, began to fall.

History will tell whether this turning point that begins in Iran has been inspired by the "contagion democratic "had hoped George W. Bush in the Middle East by liberating Iraq from its dictator, or by the hand of Barack H. Obama to Islam during his recent speech in Cairo. Both policies have probably contributed, in ways opposed to these effects they wanted. It was certainly reassuring to hear the President of the United States out of its weighty silences, reported here last week and approved by the sheepish Obamamania. On Tuesday, Obama has "strongly condemned the violent actions" in tribute to "courage" of protesters. Refusing to interfere in Iranian affairs, as it enjoins the West with reason, may not prohibit, the side of caution, the basic signs of support towards the Muslim people who says he wants to be free.

Short-termism
The question remains: Nicolas Sarkozy wants Does it really take him round the body the most serious problems, including the safeguarding of national cohesion? The promotion of Muslim women, republican and secular, remained timid in the reshuffle. The temptation is to dispel the French by pipolisation policy, illustrated by the arrival of Frederic Mitterrand Culture. When the head of state guarantees, Monday, speaking of economic and social: "The French model has its chance again," while the report of the Court of Auditors published the next day, put on alert on the huge deficits products, including the State welfare, will find this constant attraction to the short-termism, which has always rejected the most drastic decisions. When is ECT?

(1) See in this regard, the underside of the veil by Editions Response secular.
(2) I borrow this quote interesting to study David Mascré just devoted to the murder of Ilan Halimi in Barbarians City, published by Infinity. Aristotle's text, quoted by the author, said this at greater length: "The absence of national community is a factor of civil war, as citizens do not share the same values of civilisation.Une city is not formed in from people at random, and it needs time to coagulate. Therefore, among those who have accepted foreigners to found a city with them, and to integrate them into the city, most have experienced wars civilians. For example, the tyrants of Syracuse, having naturalized immigrants were subjected to riots. Citizens and foreigners have come to fight. "

How To Make A Cofee Table

Three pioneering initiatives in relations between Christians and Jews

These texts - very old but it is always useful to consult - are on the files of relations between Christians and Jews and will provide references to articles, more or less well informed, which bloom in recent years on this topic .

(Menahem Macina) 1. The Friends of Israel (Amici Israel) (1927-1928)
February 24, 1926, was created in Rome, a pious association of priests, called Opus Priestly Amici Israel, whose members devoted themselves to prayer for Jews and apostolate for their conversion. This initiative was not only of its kind, and she probably would never have attracted the attention of researchers if it had been abolished in an expeditious manner and seemingly arbitrary, since 1928, just two years after its official founding, despite the number and quality of its members, among whom were many members of the ecclesiastical hierarchy, as evidenced by the pro anno exacto Operis Status (status of the work for the past year), published in early 1927 by Officials work. It identifies eighteen cardinals, archbishops and bishops, two hundred and two thousand priests. Among the cardinals, we see familiar names: van Rossum, Gaspari, Faulhaber, etc.. The totality of the Bishops of the Netherlands had joined the Association as well as an impressive number of bishops from around the world. The patronage committee was chaired by the Benedictine Abbot Dom Benedict Goriador Bishop Vanneuville was vice-president, and Father Van Asseldonk, Attorney General, in Rome, the College of Crosier, secretary; among members this Committee were the Fathers Garrigou-Lagrange, a Dominican, Damien, the Crosier Order, Himmelreich the Franciscan Order, and Dom Chuard, canon regular of the Immaculate Conception. At the time of dissolution (March 1928), had joined the Association: nineteen cardinals (which Merry del Val, van Rossum, Früwirth, Pompili and Perosi, members of the Holy Office), nearly three hundred bishops and about 3,000 priests.

We will not address here the circumstances or reasons for the brutal suppression of Amici, but it will not need to list the principles advocated by the movement. Indeed, the "new look" before the letter (and quite revolutionary for its time), it focused on the Jewish people, announced more than twenty years in advance, "the teaching of esteem," which Jules Isaac was a pioneer, and which found its first expression in the "Ten Points Seelisberg "before becoming the norm in today's Church. The twelve following were the charter of the report with Christian Jews, as Amici dreamed of acclimatizing in Christendom

"Whether we refrain from talking

œ the deicide people;

· of City deicide;

· conversion of the Jews - we rather say "return", or "way";

œ the convertibility of the Jewish people;

· the incredible things that are told about Jews, especially " ritual crime ";

· to speak without respect for their ceremonies;

œ to exaggerate or generalize a particular case;

· to express anti-Semitic terms.

But we said

· the prerogative of divine love which Israel enjoys;

· the sign that love sublime in the incarnation of Christ and its mission;

· the permanence of this love best: its increase due to the death of Christ;

· the testimony, the proof of that love, in the conduct of the Apostles. "

2. The 'Ten Points' Seelisberg (1947)

preceded by the Meeting of the Savoy Hotel (1943) and the Oxford Conference (1946), a "special international conference to combat anti-Semitism" meets from July 30 August 5, 1947 at Seelisberg (Switzerland) under the auspices of the International Council of Christians and Jews. " It approved a series of assumptions about the Christian religious education. Moved by the suffering of the Jewish people, the Commission, in a frank and cordial cooperation between Jewish and Christian members, admitted that some inaccurate conceptions theological perspective, and some presentations of false gospels, quite contrary to the spirit of Christianity had contributed to the development of anti-Semitism.

Jules Isaac had prepared a first series of theses, which was the basis for the development by the Christian members Commission and after consulting the Jewish participants in the Conference, a "Call to the churches," which was widely distributed (but not edited). It is difficult to assess the impact, but it is widely estimated that, in conjunction with the book by J. Isaac, Jesus and Israel, which appeared the following year, the paper exerted a significant influence on a number of Christian conscience, even if it did not receive official approval of religious Christians. Until Vatican II, it was the only international document to which Christians could possibly refer, but few of them knew him.

"We have just witnessed an explosion of anti-Semitism that led to the persecution and extermination of millions of Jews living among Christians.

Despite the disaster that befell the persecuted and the persecutors, disaster makes us measure the anguished gravity and urgency of the Jewish problem, antisemitism has not only lost none of its force, but threatens to reach parts of an increasingly broad range of humanity, poisoning the minds of Christians and lead them into error serious consequences.

Undoubtedly the Christian churches have said they often anti-Christian character of antisemitism, but we note with dismay that two thousand years of preaching the Gospel of Love is not enough to prevent an outbreak among Christians, various forms of hatred and contempt towards the people of Jesus.

This would be impossible if all Christians were faithful to the message of Jesus Christ on God's mercy and love of neighbor. But this loyalty must have the desire to avoid any far-sighted presentation or any conception of the Christian message that would encourage anti-Semitism in any form whatsoever. We must recognize that, unfortunately, this will alert has often failed.

We therefore appeal to the churches to draw their attention to this alarming situation. We firmly hope that they will have to heart to tell their followers how to exclude any animosity towards Jews, which could arise from presentations and misconceptions, inaccurate or misleading in teaching and preaching Christian doctrine and how the contrary promote brotherly love towards the people of the Old Covenant, so sorely tried. Nothing, it seems, can not be more calculated to lead to this happy result that increased emphasis on the following:

1. Recall that the same living God who speaks to us all in the Old and New Testament.

2. Remember that Jesus was born of a Jewish mother, race of David and the people of Israel, and his eternal love and forgiveness embraces his own people and the world.

3. Remember that the first disciples, the apostles and the first martyrs were Jews.

4. Recall that the basic tenet of Christianity, that of love of God and neighbor, already enacted in the Old Testament and confirmed by Jesus, Christians and Jews requires in all human relations, without exception.

5. Not to demean the biblical Judaism or post-biblical in order to exalt Christianity.

6. Avoid using the word "Jews" in the exclusive sense of "enemies of Jesus" or the phrase "enemies of Jesus" to refer to the entire Jewish people.

7. Avoid presenting the Passion so that the blame for the killing of Jesus upon all the Jews or the Jews alone. Indeed, they are not all Jews who called the death of Jesus. They are not Jews alone who are responsible for the Cross, that saves us all, shows that it is because of our sins to all that Christ died.

Remind all parents and Christian educators the grave responsibility they face due to present the Gospel and especially the passion narrative in a simplistic way. Indeed, they may thus inspire, whether they like it or not, the aversion in the consciousness or subconsciousness of their children or listeners. Psychologically speaking, in simple souls, driven by a burning love and deep compassion for the crucified Saviour, the horror they naturally feel towards the persecutors of Jesus in turn easily generalized hatred of the Jews of all times, including today.

8. Avoid referring to the scriptural curses and cries of a mob: "Let his blood be on us and on our children," reminiscent of the cry that can not prevail against the infinitely more powerful prayer of Jesus: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. "

9. Avoid promoting the superstitious notion that the Jewish people are reprobate, accursed, reserved for a destiny of suffering.

10. Avoid talking about Jews as if they were not the first members of the Church.

In practice, we would suggest:

œ to introduce or develop in school and extra-curricular at all levels, a more objective and thorough history Biblical and post-biblical Jewish people and the Jewish problem;

œ to promote in particular the dissemination of this knowledge through publications tailored to different Christian circles;

· ensure correct in Christian publications, especially in the textbooks, all that oppose the principles outlined above.

We put our joint efforts under the banner of the words of St. Paul: "They are beloved because of their fathers, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." (Rom 11, 28 -29).

3.'s theses Bad Schwalbach (May 1950)

In May 1950, in Bad Schwalbach (Germany), a group of Protestant and Catholic theologians (including Freudenberg and Pastor Karl Thieme) met to clarify the biblical foundations of Ten Points Seelisberg. The text of these had previously been subjected to various associations Judeo-Christian. Theses Schwalbach received in July 1950, approval of the Catholic hierarchy, in the person of the Bishop of Freiburg im Breisgau. Less known than the points Seelisberg, who served as the Charter of Friendship Associations in the various Judeo-Christian theories of Bad Schwalbach, supplementing them, are of great importance because they provide the basis for reform of the Christian teaching, as demanded by the conference Seelisberg. Note that this document already contains the essence of what appear in official documents relating to the post "new look" that the Church would become the Jewish people.

1. One and the same God speaks to all men in the Old and New Testament. This one God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Moses and the Prophets. If we Christians do not believe in one God we worship a false god, even if we call the Father of Jesus Christ: this was already the heresy of Marcion in the 1st century.

2. Jesus was born of Israel, a Jewish mother, race of David. For him, the son of David, the Anointed of God, we share to redemption, bound for Israel for the coming of the messiah, and already promised to all other peoples in the blessing given to Abraham. If it is safe for our faith in the person of Jesus of Nazareth is the Savior who came to perform any promise of salvation, it is nevertheless certain that we are still waiting for the day to come when we contemplate the manifestation of this accomplishment.

3. The church, founded by the Holy Spirit, is composed of Jews and Gentiles in Christ reconciled and combined to form the new People of God. We must never forget that part Much of this church is made up of Jews and the apostles and the first witnesses of Jesus were Jews.

4. The basic tenet of Christianity, that of love of God and neighbor, already enacted in the Old Testament and confirmed by Jesus Christ, thus forcing Jews and Christians in all human relationships without exception.

5. Because the Jew as a Christian (Mark 12, 33 ff.; Rom 13: 8-10), is subject to the same law of love without limits is a sin to belittle proudly Jews of the time Biblical and post-biblical against Christians, is to misunderstand and the Gospel as the fulfillment of the Act.

6. It is not consistent with Scripture to equate "the Jews" to "enemies of Jesus," for precisely the Evangelist John refers to which this use - even where he seems to identify one another does not refer in speaking of "Jewish", the entire Jewish people, not even in Jerusalem (7, 12s), but the majority of influential political and religious leaders to this point (7, 48 et seq.) Therefore, speaking of the Passion, we must not fail to remind these "crowds" who wept over Jesus (Lk 23, 27) and that after his crucifixion "they went home beating their breasts" (Lk 23, 48).

7. Above all, it is neither biblical nor Christian to watch and to present the Passion of Christ, to whom we owe our salvation, in a partial light, attributing the fault of men determined historically or that of a specific people. As far as men can judge, and based on data from the New Testament, one can clearly distinguish among the contemporaries of Jesus, three attitudes "guilty" to varying degrees:

a) The conduct of some relatively few who, in a manner or another, were involved in the crucifixion, from the instigators of the death of Christ, driven by political ambition and religious fanaticism, to officials or scholars who have failed through cowardice.

b) The conduct of the multitude who could not bring himself to believe in the Resurrection of Jesus as foretold by the apostles and connected to the scriptural evidence of his Messiahship, and instead allowed himself be convinced by the arguments that seemed doomed to lag death for blasphemy and uplift of the people (cf. Acts 17, 11, but Luke 5, 39!).

c) The hatred of a great number who pursued and slandered the disciples of Jesus (Acts 13, 50, 14, 19, 17, 5ß, 18, 12ss). We should not forget that, since the Middle Ages, with Maimonides, the Jewish authorities increasingly changing their attitude and, unlike their predecessors, recognize the pagan baptized as a worshiper of the true God. In all this, we Christians must never forget that we pay much more if convicted, despite the graces received, we engage in social and political messianism and crucify, again, the Lord, necessarily and finally in its members, we simply confess lips Revelation of God instead of consenting to the reproach of the cross as the Lord died and rose for us has the right to demand our whole lives, we should rather pay attention to the warnings and promises he has given us as signs whereas between 1933 and 1945, for the first time in history, Jews and Christians were persecuted all, we refuse to respect the sincere believer who does not share our faith.

8. The meaning of the crucifixion of Christ in God's covenant with Israel is a mystery hidden within God's steadfast loyalty to his people. And even the central part of the epistle to the Romans (Ch. 9-11) reveals to us in its main features by referring to. Like everywhere else in the history of this unique people, there can be no question here of a curse, but rather a blessing that God wants his people to give eventually, and with him, to all peoples. Alone - according to Genesis 12, 3 - it excludes those who through carelessness or maliciously violates this covenant promising. The Christian remembers also the word of Christ on the cross: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!" The cry of a mob: "Let his blood be on us and on our children "must be shot by us in prayer and express that blood saves finally those for whom it was first poured. We will never have to cry abuse to present the shedding of Jewish blood as a kind of just punishment, especially since early Christianity was venerated with particular fervor of the martyrs of Jewish origin.

9. The only New Testament passage where the word "discharge" in relation to the fate of the Jews is immediately opposite the "assumption" future of the people of the old covenant in the new and final Covenant, in Rm 11, 15, must be the standard interpretation of all the claims the New Testament for rejection. It is not consistent with the revelation only to announce the provisional aspect of the dual sentence given by the entire Bible, without evoking the same time, the other aspect - the final - which will remove it by surpassing. Yes the Jews to Jesus is promised by God as the final word on their history and that promise is the guarantee of his yes to the Jews. This must be the last word of Christian preaching

How Many Btus Is A Car Radiator

Netanyahu begins European tour

Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, starts a three-day visit through Europe. Program, Italy, France and Holland. This is the first time since his election last April that the head of the Israeli government goes to the Old Continent. It is awaited for by the leaders of the European Union. On the agenda of discussions, negotiations for peace with the Palestinians, Syria and the Golan Heights, Iran and its manifestations. First stage of the tour leader of the coalition, Italy. Bibi met with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. Before that, he gave an interview on Italian television. The Prime Minister conveyed a welcome message to his European friends. "Anyone who deals only with construction in the settlements is wasting his time. Reduce the problem between Israelis and Palestinians to a case of colonies hinders the peace process. " Netanyahu reacted to the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Franco Frattini expressed "to freeze settlement building."
The next course is in Paris. The leader of the Israeli government must meet the president, Nicolas Sarkozy. George Mitchell, the emissary U.S. Middle East, will join the discussion between the two men. They discuss their divergent views on the peace settlement. Israeli Prime Minister will present their project's "economic and commercial assistance to the Palestinian people." An idea dear to the Prime Minister of Israel. The French head of state will discuss the issue of Jerusalem. France is for sharing. Netanyahu reiterated in his speech at Bar Ilan University that "Jerusalem is indivisible and will forever be the capital of Israel." The Shalit issue will be discussed for sure. Iran and demonstrations are also scheduled discussions.
The head of the Israeli government will make a brief visit to Holland and discuss with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxime Frahakhen. The two men will discuss the peace proposal of President Bashar Al-Assad. We know that Netanyahu is unwilling to cede any ground on this issue.

Ultimately, the prime minister is known in hostile terrain. He heard voices and Israel's position right out of the plane. He repeated his message: "Israel wants peace but not under any condition."

Dark Stool At 36 Weeks

Counter-figures and protagonists of the Iranian political crisis

Jean-Sylvestre Mongrenier brush with the portrait of talented actors prncipaux the Iranian crisis.
Read the following lines can understand better the challenges of the current crisis.

If we are to believe the dogma, partly backed by President Obama in his speech in Cairo (June 3, 2009), the CIA had removed itself a premier national democratic elected and supported by all Iranians, and in the name of oil interests of the United States.

This fact justifies a posteriori the large reserve which the White House has shown in the present political crisis in Iran. But we must look more closely.
Born in 1880, Mohammed Mossadegh was the son of a wealthy landowner and a parent of Qajar princess, the imperial dynasty preceding the seizure of power by Reza Khan (founder of the Pahlavi dynasty, it takes power 1925). Mossadegh was educated in Europe and obtained a doctorate in law from the University of Neuchâtel (Dr. Mossadegh). He was then governor of the province (Fars, Azerbaijan), Minister of Finance (1921) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1923-1925). Mossadegh opposes the takeover Reza Pahlavi and he was temporarily imprisoned.

In 1943, Mossadegh was elected National Front (the actual number of voters then not more than one tenth of the population), a small political party that is allied with the Tudeh, the Iranian Communist Party.

Mossadegh arises champion a national policy on the issue of oil.

In 1994 and 1947, he led the failed Soviet (requirements for oil concessions) and against the interests of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) was founded in 1909.

When the Iranian prime minister, General Razmara is assassinated by a member of the organization Fadayan-e Eslam (led by Navvab Safavi, the precursor of political Islam and a metro station in Tehran bears his name), doors are open to him. He headed the government in April 1951.

With the support of the Tudeh Party but also Shi'ite (led by Ayatollah Kashani), Mossadeq decided to nationalize the oil and thereby trigger a major international crisis with multiple dimensions.

The AIOC has the conflict before the International Court of Justice at The Hague; technicians British were expelled and international markets close to Iranian oil, is that Tehran could not even extract and export its own efforts.

Without oil revenues, the country slides into economic crisis and conflicts Mossadegh with the Shah (Mohammad Reza succeeded his father in 1941, who abdicated under pressure from the British and the Soviets who then occupy Iran) .

As part of their overall strategy of containment, the United States supported the nationalism of the Third World and therefore the will of Mossadegh nationalized the oil, provided that the shapes and international law (compensation owners, etc.) are respected; Washington is not on the same line as London strongly supports the British economic interests in Iran as in the entire Middle East.

However, their mission conciliation fails and the conflict between London and Tehran is running to the economic attrition. On site, the political situation deteriorates. The Tudeh practice of street unrest, the Shah was forced to start and the Shiite party loyal to the monarchical principle, dissents from Mossadegh.

Mossadegh sought to exploit the Communists (Tudeh) and the fear of the USSR, to put pressure on the Americans who maintain their economic aid. An additional request for assistance is extended in May 1953, Washington must stop thinking of Mossadegh as a bulwark against communism. The Prime Minister responded by concentrating more power.

Therefore, we see the convergence of political interests of the Shah, the army (loyal to the monarch) and the religious party, the United States playing the facilitators. The main architect of the coup, August 19, 1953, is General Zahedi, a member of the Senate and leader of the monarchist opposition. In fact, the United States plays a key role, the CIA funding and organizing the coup (Operation Ajax).

August 19, religious leaders and leaders of the bazaar organized a demonstration monarchy and the army joined the movement and took control of the capital. Mossadegh was arrested, Zahedi became head of the government and the Shah returned to Iran. The former prime minister was tried and sentenced to three years in prison. Released in 1956, he retired from public life and died in 1967.

Since this serious domestic crisis and international Mossadegh as a pioneer and leader of Nasserism third world victim of American imperialism and is also a victim of blackmail his suicide and gambling that leads to the ambiguous Tudeh. Finally, we must not neglect the proper in the Iranian coup of August 19, 1953.

Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Khomeini

is the winner of the 1979 revolution and the founder of the Islamic Republic. Born in 1902 in Khomein, near Tehran, he studied and taught theology in Qom, one of the holiest sites in Shia Islam. Ruhollah Khomeini against the Shah stands and the policy of forced modernization of the country, Middle Eastern variant of "enlightened despotism" inaugurated by Reza Pahlavi's father and, simultaneously, by Mustafa Kemal in Turkey.

Arrested in 1963 he was exiled and went first to Turkey, then Iraq, before joining France in 1978, while the Iranian political situation deteriorates. Installed Neauphle-le-Chateau, he enjoys the convenience of the authorities, who think they have a trump card for the post-Pahlavi, and his followers flood Iran with tapes of recorded violent preaching on French soil.

The Shah went into exile, Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Tehran on 1 February 1979, where he triumphantly allowed. He announced the same day the constitution of an Islamic Revolutionary Council, the first step towards the establishment of an Islamic Republic (March 1979).

In this new politico-religious regime, Ayatollah Khomeini performs the function of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution. First character of the country, appointed for life by the Assembly of Experts, it has the upper hand in affairs domestic and foreign policies. Sometimes
presented in the West under the guise of a peaceful kind of wise (a Muslim Gandhi), Khomeini revealed his true face for all to see (though). Islamic Courts purify the state apparatus and army are bloody purges and go well beyond the inevitable settling of scores inherent in this type of situation.

November 4, 1979 hostage taking of U.S. embassy (52 diplomats held 444 days) embodies the violently anti-Western orientation of the Islamic regime, Ayatollah Khomeini refers to a "second revolution". When Saddam Hussein's troops attacked the "enemy Persian, September 17, 1980, the Supreme leverages the war between Iran and Iraq (1980-1988) to eliminate the sources of opposition and strengthen the Islamist grip on the country.

Ayatollah Khomeini died in 1989 and the followers of comparative evoke the "Thermidor" of the Islamic Revolution. Two decades have passed since ...

Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution

In the current political crisis in Iran, Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution outset supported the outgoing president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, revealing strong solidarity between the two men (a fact overlooked by many experts).

Born in 1939 in Mashhad (one of the shrines of Shiite Islam, east of Iran), Ali Khamenei was a student of Ayatollah Khomeini that he follows in his opposition to the imperial monarchy of Mohammed Pahlavi, he is also jailed several times during this period.

In 1979 he joined the Council of Islamic Revolution and is very committed to the implementation of the plan; Ali Khamenei helped create the Islamic Republic Party and runs a time the Guardians of the Revolution, iron lance ideological regime.

In 1981, he survived an attack that takes away one arm. He was elected president of Republic, with the approval of Ayatollah Khomeini (Mousavi is the Prime Minister); Iran is at war against Iraq.

the death of Khomeini in 1989, Ali Khamenei appointed Supreme Leader by the Assembly of Experts, not without controversy. Critics said Ali Khamenei would not have any theological qualifications required, and in 1979 he was qu'hodjatoleslam, making it a religious junior.

Once in place in June 1989, he broadened the scope of its functions and strengthen the bonds forged over the years with the Revolutionary Guards and intelligence services of the scheme, so of "deep state". Ali Khamenei is haunted by the "western cultural contamination" and a form of Iranian "velvet revolution".

From 1997 to 2004, he opposed in many respects to the timid political reforms advocated by Mohammad Khatami, who succeeded to the presidency of Hashemi Rafsanjani (1989-1997), himself a supporter of a limited opening to the West.

On 12 June 2009, the Supreme Leader immediately takes up the cause of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and he solemnly renews its support on 19 June. The turn taken by this serious political crisis and the bloody repression have already invalidated the scenario of a "velvet revolution".

In this respect, the wishes are fulfilled Ali Khamenei, Iran's Islamist is not Hungary or Czechoslovakia post-Cold War.

Ahmadinejad challenged President and Leader of the Islamic-Justicialist

Reelected in circumstances that we know (various information confirms the initial feeling of a huge fraud), the President of the Islamic Republic is the epitome of the "engineer Islamist, secular from the popular classes (a blacksmith father) who attempts a new synthesis politico-Islamic radical more the regime that emerged from the revolution of 1979.

Gamsar Born in 1956 in a small town a hundred miles from Tehran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad belongs to the generation that forged his political identity in the context of the Iran-Iraq war than in years of struggle against the regime the Shah.

He trained as an engineer as many of these activists in the Arab-Muslim world, constitute the backbone of radical Islamism, and obtained his doctorate in 1987 (he already holds public office).

Elected Mayor of Tehran 2003 he became president of the Islamic Republic in 2005. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad supported the Pasdaran (the "Revolutionary Guards") and the Basij (the "Focused") that represent the core of the plan and recruit in the popular media.

These structures are central to the populist and clientelist system, with oil revenues as a "justice", of which Ahmadinejad is the incarnation (see the financial role of various foundations controlled by the Pasdaran and policies assistantship the benefit of the lower classes).

So his speech he connotations "fight classes, particularly when it threatens to "cut hands" of "profiteering" threat addressed in terms scarcely veiled Hashemi Rafsanjani - Former President of the Islamic Republic (1989-1997) and defeated rival in 2005 - deemed be one of the richest men of Iran (his daughter was arrested June 21, 2009 and then released, ed Primo). This dimension

"populist" (a kind of Islamo-Bolshevism?) Should not obscure the close connections with Ahmadinejad's part of the clergy, the support shown by the Supreme Leader, and the propensity of the character to a form of political millenarianism.

Iranian President expects the near return of the Twelfth Imam, a descendant and representative of the Prophet, who died in 873 (see his speech at the UN in September 2005 and the speech delivered November 16, 2005 at the meeting of imams Friday ).

Internationally, this religio-political orientation is reflected in a speech denier and anti-Jewish violent diatribes against Israel and the United States and an anti-Western stance, Ahmadinejad sought to take the head a pan-Islamic front that would expand the Shiite axis and it is forging links with countries hostile to the West (Russia, China, Venezuela).

He wants to be the leader of a "third revolution", described by observers of Islamo-Justicialist.

Mousavi, leader of a not found "color revolution" Islamic Revolutionary

the first hour, Mir Hossein Moussavi is an "old horse" of return, long absent from the political scene. Born in 1941 in the Azeri part of Iran, he initially appears to represent a form of Islamism third world and has a recent craze among classes urban and community supporters of the opening.

Given his political history, one must wonder if the character is not overtaken by the dynamics of events and transformed into a totem, in Freudian terms, a large proportion of the population.

Many people, tired of the psycho-cultural confinement, also suffer pervasive effects of the isolation of Iran internationally and economic failure of Ahmadinejad.

But we must remember that Mousavi is a man of the seraglio committed to the very origins of the Islamic Revolution. He is a founder of the Republic Party Islamic and became the political secretary, and therefore supported the Ayatollah Khomeini during the revolutionary events.

Mousavi was then foreign minister before being appointed prime minister from 1981 to 1989, during the years of war against Iraq (Ali Khamenei was president of the Islamic Republic). He is credited with a decisive role in the survival of the Islamic Iran and functioning economy. If

then disappears from the scene, Mousavi was one of the main advisers of Presidents Rafsanjani and Khatami, who now support it. The Islamic third world now looks "reformer", exposed to the axis revolutionism Khamenei-Ahmadinejad.

should see more precisely in the person of Mousavi a "national-Islamist", mindful of the fundamental interests of his country reserved for the provocations of Ahmadinejad who have only reinforced the hostility towards the Iran.

We know he intends to continue Iran's nuclear program, like most of the political class, and do not see him as a "martingale" to resolve all disputes between Iran and the West. His hypothetical

access to the presidency, however, could facilitate a negotiation between State and State-centered interests well defined and circumscribed. Mousavi seems to have burned his ships and it will be difficult to avoid, for himself as for his movement, the consequences of a bloody crackdown.
