Bromthymol Blue Experiment

Feeling strong!! !!!!!!!!! A great start

And yes, it must be a little adventure otherwise it would not be funny!
I'll try to talk a little of what we see, we hear, touch, eat ...
We can say that is immersed in African life! Indeed we are in a very typical ouagalais. It is the only "Nasara" (white), we discover the Burkinabe cuisine and customs.

First difference with France: the family. Indeed here the place of the family seems more important. We move, in fact less than in France where we share very quickly among parents. Here we construct his box in the family court. We will try to get the latest photos from the environment.

We also spend much of our time in the media center of the CPA, a small room with a dozen computer and two windows, all that to say like it's hot. Many people come and it is often filled well!
a small picture is worth a great speech so enjoy the photos ;-)
Here one discovers the first notable situations:
Just outside the center, is a well to the neighborhood where some people (do not yet have running water). One day, we see a young girl, Only 8 years 6 cans come complete 10 or 20 liters each. Then we saw that it was pushing the cart full to her. Thomas then went to assist affected by this scene not common here (After asking the young CPA if that were not moved).

The next day, in the same place it was discovered the first altercation between a young woman we had not seen and the secretary. It was very invigorating and virulent. We do not really understand very well what was happening (it was Moore). In

Mahamadi we eat specialties prepared with love by Kolsoum (Mahamadi's girlfriend) is also very good except a few dishes that we are far from being used, such as the To and sorrel sauce (I did not dare try them Seeing the reaction of Thomas to the tasting).
We could not escape, a great debate on Raymond Domenech and co. Unfortunately, the videos are too big to put on the blog (you still get a little preview), but we return a great moment of pleasure is assured ... This morning we

som my first went to school Naha Diel where we give our courses support. As Thomas said, is in a poor neighborhood and go for it takes a fairly bumpy dirt road. All the little heart in saying "Nasara" when passing. Got to school children ahead. We begin our course in CM2 and watching all the little ones through the door, windows and everything. It marked the first moments and we realize that this will be very educational. Students are highly motivated and instead of hands, they raise their hands, snap their fingers, get up and we casually refer! It's really great, but it will also be hard enough.

All this to try to put just in the mood for Ouagadougou, but it's not easy to tell. We will try to take beautiful photos and show them to you.
soon!

Aetna Vs Community Health Network

We take a short break to send you some news.

First, n e have begun on Saturday, securing the media center and the training of young CPA. As expected, the computers are infected with viruses, we showed how to do a clean reinstallation with appropriate software (Antivirus, Office, Firefox, etc..). Young CPA were really curious, to train them we showed them how to on a machine and they were free to continue on the job still infected. Yesterday, Wednesday, all positions were restored. To ensure the continuation of our intervention, we try to introduce them to writing tutorials, but they seem less motivated because they are more used to transfer knowledge and speaking.

This morning we started being supporte i for pupils going in 6th and just received their Certificate of Primary Studies. The school is in a poor neighborhood of Ouagadougou, the journey was made on the back of mopeds with Abdou and Fillip (two young CPA). We were greeted by a professor, the director thanked us and put us in the room where we were going to teach the courses. To begin, we presented the game Hangman (without giving it a name) until the young students late. Then we gave them a dictation, a problem and calculations, we had prepared the day before. Summary of Results: The dictation was not successful but the problem and the calculations have not been a problem. In discussions with the teaching staff (ie Director, Professor in charge of the class) we realized that the exercises were too easy for students, yet they have revealed some shortcomings.

is where we are today. Here is an outline of the program:
Until July 8-9 in the morning we provide support classes and the afternoon's rest and we spend time at the media center.
From July 11-12, in the morning we finished the training of young people in the ACP and the afternoon is devoted to organizing a sports tournament which will be punctuated awareness session on first aid, gestures first aid.

That's the ticket seriously.

First Step in Africa

Re Hello!
And yes we are finally in Africa! The first steps on African soil is going very well. I'll tell you a bit of all this my friends!
We arrived in Ouagadougou on Friday with almost an hour late! This has not stopped to sample directly to the heat right out of the plane. Then first contact with African life .... Ouagadougou Airport is under construction. HAHAAA The return of luggage is manually so with all that goes with it .. I imagine a room full of warmth and tons of luggage arriving from a cart and placed on a small alley. And woe, he must find his own luggage. First adventure was successful, after some time we can find all our suitcases!
Mahamadi Thomas and Olivier we patiently waiting outside with a smile! It is immediately put into trust and the first contacts are perfect and we all returned home to eat a little Mahamadi in the right mood of course!
The next day, after a night in the heat and with mosquitoes, you will see the media center and found the atmosphere directly seen with pictures of Frank.
I leave to your imagination and you end up in the next issue ...

Bottomless Movies Scene

Just a quick overview of the donated equipment not Ensimag. We received pens and rules that will be particularly useful for support sessions. The carabiners are rather small gifts that we offer as required by tradition.
